Casa Soluna is a private three-bedroom villa tucked into the jungle at the quieter northern end of Nosara — just 25 meters from the Boca & Beach, where the Nosara River meets the Pacific.

Wake to howler monkeys and tropical birds. Walk to Playa Pelada in minutes. Spend the afternoon between two private pools. Make pizzas or grill dinner outside. Head to the rooftop for yoga, surf watching and sunset.

When you want the restaurants, coffee, yoga and energy of Guiones, you're only minutes away. When you're ready to come home, you return to somewhere private and quiet.

THE VILLA

Casa Soluna is one connected three-bedroom home with several distinct places to gather, relax and retreat.

The main level includes two bedrooms, a full kitchen, indoor-outdoor living, the main pool and extensive outdoor entertaining spaces.

Downstairs, the third bedroom becomes a more private guest suite with its own full kitchen and living area. It connects internally to the rest of the villa, while also offering an optional private exterior entrance.

It's an ideal layout for families, multiple couples or multigenerational trips — everyone stays together, but nobody has to live on top of one another.

INDOOR-OUTDOOR LIVING

Life here is meant to move outside.

The main level opens to a BBQ and dining terrace with a gas grill, wood-fired pizza oven and outdoor dining.

Nearby, an indoor-outdoor café and beverage bar becomes the spot for morning coffee, afternoon drinks or cocktails before dinner.

Two private pools create separate places to cool off throughout the day, and outdoor rinse showers near the entrances and pool areas make coming home from the beach easy.

TWO REAL KITCHENS

Casa Soluna was built as a home, not simply outfitted as a vacation rental.

Both kitchens include gas cooking, while premium Sub-Zero refrigeration and residential-grade appliances make it easy to actually cook, entertain and settle in for a longer stay.

The villa also includes premium, high-capacity laundry equipment and a dedicated whole-home gas hot-water system, rather than relying on small point-of-use electric heaters.

They aren't the flashiest amenities in a photograph — but they're the details you appreciate once you're here.

THE ROOFTOP

Both levels have dedicated access to Casa Soluna's rooftop.

Part surf-viewing terrace, part sunset deck and part yoga space, it's one of our favorite places in the house.

Start the day with movement and coffee, check conditions along the coast, read in the breeze or head upstairs as the sun begins to drop.

BUILT FOR NOSARA

We put as much thought into how Casa Soluna works as how it looks.

Solar + Battery Backup

A private Sol-Ark battery system helps bridge the brownouts and local power interruptions that can occur in Costa Rica.

Under conservative use, the system can keep essential systems and connectivity operating through extended outages — potentially up to 2–3 days depending on conditions and usage.

Two Internet Connections

The villa has both Starlink and independent local high-speed internet, providing two ways to stay connected during changing weather or local service interruptions.

Internet equipment is supported by the battery system as well.

Private Well

Casa Soluna operates from its own private well, providing additional independence during occasional local water interruptions.

Tropical Comfort

Each bedroom has dedicated air conditioning, with fans throughout the home for additional airflow and comfort.

A QUIETER SIDE OF NOSARA

Casa Soluna isn't in the middle of busy central Guiones.

That's intentional.

Casa Soluna is hidden in the jungle near the Boca, where the Ostional National Wildlife Refuge borders the property, creating a protected natural backdrop with local walking paths woven through the surrounding jungle and coastline.

You're close to the water and surrounded by the sounds of Costa Rica, while still keeping Playa Pelada, Playa Guiones, restaurants, surf, yoga and the rest of Nosara within minutes.

It gives Casa Soluna the best of both sides of Nosara: nature and privacy at home, with everything you came to Nosara for close by.

Boca Nosara

Playa Nosara — Beach + Surf

Across the Boca

Playa Nosara is a wild, secluded Pacific beach and surf area with a very different feel from busy Guiones. Depending on swell, tides and season, the waves here can be powerful and better suited to experienced surfers.

The Boca is a natural rivermouth, so access and conditions can change with tides and season.

Playa Pelada

~5–8 minutes walking | ~2 minutes driving

Follow the local jungle/Monkey Trail toward North Playa Pelada, one of Nosara's most beautiful coves.

Pelada is great for beach days, swimming when conditions allow, tide pools, sunsets and some of our favorite nearby restaurants.

Playa Guiones

~20 minutes walking | ~5–10 minutes driving

Guiones is Nosara's famous surf beach and the center of much of the area's restaurants, cafés, yoga, wellness and shopping.

Spend the day in the middle of everything.

Then come home to somewhere quieter.
